What better way to welcome 2013 than with an expression of thanks for all that has gone your way in 2012? And a statement of what you would like to achieve in the coming year?

Yes, there have been down sides for everyone in the last year. Every year brings it’s challenges. But must we focus on the negative, folks? I’m a great believer in positive thinking. Sending positive thoughts out into the universe yields positive results, while negative thoughts foster negativity.

Do you want to change your life around in 2013? Then change your way of thinking. Don’t allow any negative thoughts to fester in the cobwebs of the mind. Blow them clear with winds of positivity.

It may sound like a cliché to look for the silver lining, but every cloud does have one, although it may not be visible until you go through the tunnel and find the light. Okay, that is totally clichéed, but true.

So what say you, we all give this a try? Take a deep breath in, a breath full of positivity, and as you blow out, blow all those negative thoughts away. Continue until you find yourself in a more positive frame of mind.

Now to remind myself of this exercise every day, several times a day.
